Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking a Cancer Pathway Co‑Ordinator to provide essential administrative support for the Cancer Services team across Saint Mary’s and North Manchester sites. The role supports the CPC and MDT co‑ordination, ensuring timely reviews and accurate data tracking.

You will liaise with clinical staff, prepare information for treatment planning, and help ensure compliance with national targets and internal escalation policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital-based or clerical roles is essential.
• Understanding of National Cancer Waiting Times and cancer pathways desirable.
• Strong data input and tracking skills demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative services to multidisciplinary team meetings and assist the Cancer Pathway Co-ordinator.
• Liaise with clinical teams, especially specialist nurses, to review cancer patients.
• Collect and provide information to support patient treatment plans.
• Manage own workload and escalate issues to CPC as appropriate.
• Follow national guidelines (cancer waiting times, peer review) and internal policies.
• Support annual peer review processes and contribute to meeting requirements locally and nationally.
