Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer Navigator to support patients through their cancer pathway, coordinating referrals, investigations and treatment to align with national standards.

The role focuses on tracking pathways (2WW referrals), data entry on PAS and Somerset Cancer Registry, and liaising with clinicians to ensure timely care while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Science, English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of confidentiality importance.
• Knowledge of anatomical/medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Act as a patient navigator, tracking each patient's pathway in line with national guidance.
• Enter accurate data into the Patient Access System and Somerset Cancer Database following policies.
• Support compliance with Clinical Governance and Risk Management standards.
