Job summary

Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) is looking for a Group Security Officer to join our security team at Stafford Campus. You will conduct patrols, assist learners and staff, and help maintain a friendly, safe learning environment.

You will be a visible point of contact, respond calmly to incidents, and help with parcels and general security duties, including occasional support at other NSCG sites.

Qualifications

• Regular patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Responding to requests for assistance.
• Addressing unacceptable behaviour calmly and professionally.
• Evenings and some weekend work may be required.
• Interpersonal skills and good judgement are priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security standards across the campus.
• Be a visible and approachable point of contact for learners, staff and visitors.
• Receive and distribute parcels and support with practical duties.
• Support other NSCG campuses for events or emergencies when needed.
