Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) is seeking a Group Security Officer at the Stafford Campus to help maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment. You will patrol, engage with the College community, and act as a visible point of contact for learners and staff, with shifts including evenings up to 9pm and occasional weekends.

You will work with the security team across campuses as required, using sound judgement and strong interpersonal skills to support young people and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and sound judgement.
• Experience in security within a Further Education setting is desirable.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative.

Responsabilités

• Regular patrols of buildings and grounds to maintain safety.
• Engage with learners, staff and visitors and provide guidance.
• Respond to requests for assistance and address unacceptable behaviour calmly.
• Receive and distribute parcels and support events or emergencies if needed.
