Job summary

Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) is recruiting a Group Security Officer at Stafford Campus to patrol premises, assist the college community and maintain a safe environment.

The role requires approachable, observant staff with excellent communication and strong judgement. Keen applicants will have security experience, be prepared for shift patterns up to 9pm, with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or customer-facing roles in FE setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Engage with learners, staff and visitors and offer guidance.
• Respond to requests for assistance and address unacceptable behaviour calmly.
• Receive and distribute parcels and support events as needed.
