Job summary

Wilson James is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time role in Sunbury. You will patrol premises, monitor CCTV, control access and respond to alarms while maintaining a calm, confident presence. Strong observation and communication skills are essential.

Expect a busy environment across client sites with regular reporting, safety duties, and potential emergency support. This position requires an SIA license and flexibility for irregular hours.

• Proven experience in a security role or similar position.
• Strong observational skills and ability to identify security threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high‑pressure situations.
• Flexibility to cover nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes staff and visitors to create a safe, professional atmosphere.
• Conducts regular patrols and monitors premises to deter unauthorised access, theft or vandalism.
• Monitors access points, CCTV and security procedures.
• Responds promptly to alarms, emergencies and security incidents.
• Completes detailed daily activity and incident reports.
