Job summary

Hopwood Hall College in Middleton seeks a dedicated security officer to patrol campus areas, promote positive behaviour, and report incidents to safeguard learners and staff. You will support the Safeguarding team, review CCTV as needed, and help maintain a safe environment for all college users.

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum level 2).
• Driving licence, access to a vehicle and business insurance.
• Able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling campus areas, promoting positive behaviour and reporting incidents.
• Assist Safeguarding team; review CCTV and complete incident forms.
• Maintain health, safety and welfare and manage visitor access.
• Provide customer service and support enrolment processes.
• Monitor campus grounds and protect college assets.
• Assist with searching students for prohibited items per policy.
• Liaise with emergency services when required.
