Job summary

Global University Systems (GUS) seeks a Building Manager to oversee daily operations of designated buildings, ensuring safety, compliance and an exceptional user experience. You will manage facilities services, coordinate contractors and respond to emergencies across a multi‑site estate.

You will lead health & safety compliance, drive continuous improvement, and partner with stakeholders to deliver efficient, high‑quality services while supporting sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Management experience in facilities or building services.
• Experience delivering high standards of customer service and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of designated buildings ensuring safety and comfort.
• Build relationships with users, landlords, agents and contractors.
• Act as main point of contact for facilities queries and emergencies.
• Ensure SLAs and performance indicators are met.
• Represent facilities in internal and external meetings.
