Job summary

The SU Bath is seeking a part-time, hourly-paid student community facilitator to strengthen academic communities at the Bath campus. You will connect students, staff and student leaders to boost engagement and amplify student voice within departments.

You will build relationships with students and academics, coordinate reps and mentors, and support departmental initiatives to maximise impact. The role may involve occasional home tasks by agreement and is term-time based.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with students, academic staff, and student leaders across a designated department.
• Bring together Academic Reps, PAL Leaders, Peer Mentors, Departmental Societies, and other student groups to create a connected and collaborative academic community.
• Support the development and delivery of departmental initiatives that align with Students' Union and University priorities.
• Work closely with departmental staff, SU teams, and student leaders to coordinate activities and maximise their impact.
• Promote opportunities for students to get involved in representation, mentoring, peer support, and wider departmental activities.
• Produce clear and accessible communications, updates, and resources to keep students informed about opportunities, events, and developments within their department.
