Job summary

York SU is seeking a dedicated Community Coordinator to support college committees in delivering student-led events and activities. You will help foster inclusive spaces, engage with diverse student groups, and support democratic initiatives and campus programs.

The role is full-time and permanent, based on campus with some occasional home working. The starting salary is £27,325 per annum, with a welcoming, flexible approach to working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating community-focused activities.
• Ability to plan and run events with diverse groups.
• Strong communication with student groups and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support, guidance and advice to college committees to deliver student-led activities and events.
• Develop and deliver community-building events engaging students from diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with student groups and stakeholders to foster intercultural spaces and participation.
