Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 mental health professional to join our CAMHS multi-agency team. The post is permanent, full-time or part-time (37.5 hours core) based across Bodmin with county-wide responsibilities and flexible working where possible.

You will provide short-term intensive mental health support for children and adolescents, work with families to prevent hospital admission, and collaborate with social care and other CAMHS colleagues to deliver

Qualifications

• Professional qualification and registration to practice in the NHS.
• Experience with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
• Ability to work in multi-agency settings.
• Teaching or training qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, intensive mental health intervention for children and adolescents.
• Work with young people and families to avoid hospital admission.
• Offer consultation and liaison to CAMHS and Children in Care teams.
• Perform psychosocial risk assessment and risk management.
• Collaborate with social care to deliver urgent care across Cornwall.
