Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Customer Service and Facilities Coordinator for the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. You will be the friendly face ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting visitors, employees and contractors.

This is a physically active role managing office spaces, meeting rooms, brew hubs and events, delivering excellent service and coordinating with maintenance and food service teams on site. The role is full-time with 40 hours per week and benefits through Sodexo.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or in hospitality, retail, hotel or events background is preferred.
• Positive, energetic and proactive attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfortable engaging with members of the public including school children.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly and professional first point of contact for employees, clients and visitors.
• Respond promptly to service requests and incoming communications.
• Liaise with 3rd party contractors to resolve maintenance issues.
• Deliver site tours and host visiting groups, including pupils from local schools.
• Ensure vending hubs and coffee machines are stocked and functioning.
• Assist with event set ups and meeting room arrangements.
• Maintain clean, organised spaces across reception, meeting rooms and communal areas.
