Job summary

Elliott Recruitment Solutions in Redditch is seeking a Call Centre Assistant Team Leader to manage a busy outbound calling team and drive sales from warm leads. You’ll coach colleagues, monitor KPI performance and support the team in delivering a first-class customer experience.

The role focuses on organising diaries, booking appointments for Field Sales Advisors and ensuring targets are met, while remaining customer-focused and professional in all interactions.

• Help drive towards targets while maintaining high service standards.

• Act as full team leader in the absence of the Team Leader.

We’re looking for a Call Centre Assistant Team Leader to join a busy, successful team based in Redditch. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working towards targets and turning warm enquiries into genuine sales opportunities.

You’ll be speaking to customers who have already expressed an interest in the service, so these are warm leads — not cold calling.

What you’ll be doing

• Making outbound calls to warm leads and customers who have requested contact.
• Building rapport and quickly understanding each customer’s individual needs.
• Using empathy and excellent listening skills to provide a first-class customer experience.
• Qualifying enquiries and booking appointments for Field Sales Advisors.
• Managing and maintaining busy diaries for the field sales team.
• Reconfirming appointments and proactively rescheduling where necessary.
• Helping optimise sales routes and minimise unnecessary travel.
• Ensuring every genuine sales opportunity is followed up and fulfilled.
• Working towards individual and team targets while maintaining consistently high customer service standards.
• Deputising for the Team Leader assisting with motivating the team, running incentives and monitoring KPI’s.
• Acting as full team leader in their absence.

About you

You’ll ideally have experience in a sales, customer service, call centre or telephone-based environment, but most importantly, you’ll have the right attitude and a natural ability to connect with people. You will also have the ability to motivate others and step up into a team leader role.

Working hours

• 3 x 9:00am-5:30pm
• 2 x 10:30am-7:00pm
