Job summary

Stockport Nub News is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join our team at a site across the UK. You will calibrate a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities in line with ISO 17025 and UKAS requirements, ensuring traceable records are kept using EMS management systems.

Ideal candidates will have a technical qualification and solid calibration theory knowledge, with a proactive approach to documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate measuring instrumentation and repair facilities in accordance with procedures and UKAS standards.
• Maintain traceable, auditable records of work and data using EMS systems.

About The Role

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.
