Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Calibration Engineer to calibrate a range of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities in accordance with ISO9001 and UKAS-accredited procedures across UK sites.

The role requires maintaining traceable records of work and data using EMS management systems, with flexibility in work options as part of a leading calibration services team.

Qualifications

• Qualification such as HND/HNC/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to ISO9001 and UKAS-accredited standards.
• Maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner using EMS management systems.

Education

HND/HNC/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.

• Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
