Job summary

Securitas UK seeks a Calibration Engineer to join our team across UK sites. You will calibrate a range of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities in line with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The successful candidate will independently maintain traceable records of work, data and results using EMS management systems and bring a solid understanding of calibration practices and theories to ensure high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of calibration practices and theories.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and UKAS requirements.
• Ability to maintain traceable work records using EMS systems.

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.

• Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
