Tesco is recruiting a Team Member for our in-store café. You’ll join a bustling team handling cooking, service, and a focus on safety and cleanliness. The role blends customer interaction with hands-on kitchen duties in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll contribute to a great guest experience through efficient service and accurate menu execution, while supporting cleanliness, safety standards, and team collaboration in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
• Ensure standards and availability of food products.
• Know the café menu inside and out and serve as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and inform the Café Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the café clean.
