Job summary

Tesco Cafes are seeking a Team Member to join our cafe team. You will be involved in a mix of cooking, serving customers, and keeping work areas tidy, while delivering great service that meets our menu standards and safety guidelines.

You will follow health and safety regulations, help with stock rotation, deliveries, and maintaining daily records, while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Applicants must be 18 or over and flexible for shifts.

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety regulations and keep daily records.
• Assist with FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of food.
• Prepare, cook and serve food according to the menu.
• Ensure availability of products and maintain standards.
• Respond to customer inquiries and pass on information to the Caf Manager.
• Stay up-to-date with communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
