Tesco Cafes is looking for a Team Member to join our busy cafe team. You’ll do a mix of cooking, serving customers, and keeping the area clean while upholding safety standards and our menu. We offer flexible hours and opportunities to progress, with a minimum of 8 guaranteed hours per week.

You’ll be part of a friendly team in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll be expected to work efficiently, communicate well, and contribute to a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsabilités

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the caf menu.
• Ensure food products are available and standards are met.
• Know the caf menu inside and out and serve as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and pass on information to the Caf Manager.
• Stay up-to-date with business communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the caf clean.
