Job summary

Tesco Cafes is hiring a Team Member to support daily operations in our in-store cafes. You will be involved in food preparation, serving customers, and ensuring high standards of safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook and serve food according to the menu.
• Maintain standards and ensure food availability.
• Know the caf menu inside out and serve as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and report to Caf Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the caf clean.
