Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking a friendly Team Member for our in-store cafe. You will help prepare, cook and serve items from the cafe menu while upholding food safety standards and ensuring every dish meets our high quality. You will also assist with stock, cleanliness and customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Prepare, cook and serve items from the cafe menu.
• Maintain standards and ensure all food is available.
• Know the cafe menu inside out and serve as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and relay to Café Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
• Work flexibly, opportunities for progression, minimum 8 hours per week.
