Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a proactive Team Leader for one of our Cafés. In a fast-paced, friendly environment you’ll support the Manager, coach colleagues, and ensure superb customer service while upholding health and safety standards.

You’ll help drive daily operations, open and close the café, recognise great performance, and promote an inclusive culture with flexible working options and development support.

Qualifications

• You will need prior team/shift leader experience in a hospitality setting.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a proactive attitude.
• Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operations and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
• Lead by example, delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Open/close the café and oversee full operations in the Manager’s absence.
• Coach and develop team members, recognise great performance.
• Promote inclusivity and support flexible working patterns.
