Based at Musgrove Park Hospital, the role involves driving performance, staff development, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within a café, hospitality, retail, or catering environment.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong financial awareness and commercial acumen.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages to the highest standards.
• Managing café operations to ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team.
• Monitoring business performance, budgets, and financial controls.
• Completing weekly business returns and implementing action plans where required.
• Regularly reviewing KPIs and operational targets with your line manager.
• Ensuring the café is presented to the highest standards at all times.
• Supporting the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
• Maintaining full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
