Change Please Café at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton is seeking a Café Manager to lead a team, deliver excellent food and service, and support a social enterprise helping homelessness through employment.

You will manage daily operations, drive customer satisfaction, oversee budgets, and develop staff, while upholding food safety and company procedures. If you are a proactive leader with hospitality experience and a passion for social impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a café, hospitality, or retail team.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality food and drinks to top standards.
• Manage café operations to deliver excellent service.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Monitor performance, budgets and financial controls.
• Complete weekly business returns and action plans.
• Review KPIs and targets with the line manager.
• Maintain high presentation standards at all times.
• Support recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Ensure food safety, health & safety and procedures.

• Lead from the front and foster an inclusive culture.
