Benugo is seeking a seasoned Cafe Manager to lead operations at our London location. You will oversee daily cafe operations, supervise staff, manage inventory and costs, uphold health and safety standards, and drive customer service excellence and sales growth.

You will create a welcoming environment aligned with Benugo's brand, ensuring smooth service, financial performance, and staff development in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership supervising and developing team members.
• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest experiences.
• Proficient with POS systems and cafe management software.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numerical and financial management abilities, including cash handling.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desirable: experience with Benugo or branded cafe chains.
• Desirable: food hygiene certification.
• Desirable: multi-site management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of cafe staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering of beverages, food items, and supplies while minimizing waste.
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene standards and regulations.
• Handle cash management, process transactions, and reconcile daily financial records using POS systems.
• Create and manage staff schedules to optimize coverage and meet customer demand.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitability.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and gathering feedback.
• Maintain cafe cleanliness, equipment functionality, and aesthetic appeal to brand standards.
• Implement promotional activities and seasonal offerings to drive customer engagement and sales.
• Conduct regular staff training on product knowledge, customer service, and operational procedures.
