Job summary

Benugo, London, seeks an experienced Cafe Manager to lead operations at our London location. You will oversee daily café activities, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding customer service while driving financial performance.

You will manage inventory, health and safety, and promotions, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the Benugo brand and delivers consistent high-quality beverages and food.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a café, coffee shop, or similar food service establishment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising and developing team members.
• Strong customer service orientation with commitment to guest experiences.
• Proficiency with POS systems and café management software.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, stock control and ordering.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities in fast-paced settings.
• Strong numerical and financial management abilities including cash handling and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Benugo experience; multi-site management; staff training.

Benugo is seeking an experienced and organized Cafe Manager to lead operations at our London location. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of café management, from daily operations and staff supervision to customer service excellence and financial performance. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment where customers enjoy high-quality beverages and food while ensuring your team delivers exceptional service consistently.

• Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of café staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering of beverages, food items, and supplies while minimizing waste
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene standards and regulations
• Handle cash management, process transactions, and reconcile daily financial records using POS systems
• Create and manage staff schedules to optimize coverage and meet customer demand
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitability
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and gathering feedback
• Maintain café cleanliness, equipment functionality, and aesthetic appeal to brand standards
• Implement promotional activities and seasonal offerings to drive customer engagement and sales
• Conduct regular staff training on product knowledge, customer service, and operational procedures
