Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Café Manager to lead a welcoming, vibrant Café inside the store. You will drive outstanding service, ensure stock availability, and keep the team engaged to make every customer visit positive.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will oversee rota planning, training, and day-to-day operations to sustain high standards. In this role you’ll empower your team, manage daily routines, and collaborate across store departments to meet targets while maintaining exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced food or hospitality environment.
• Confidently running shifts and handling daily priorities.
• Ability to build strong, supportive teams and communicate effectively.
• Active listener who acts on feedback to improve each shift.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll bring a proactive approach to running a welcoming, vibrant Café. You'll lead your team to deliver outstanding service, keep stock availability high, and make sure every customer leaves happy.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Empower your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, listening to customer feedback to make sure our Café is always a warm, welcoming place to pop by.
• Lead and support your team: Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to succeed and grow.
• Drive performance and standards: Lead an encouraging, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
