Job summary

Morrisons Café in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Café Manager to lead a welcoming team, deliver outstanding customer service, and keep stock availability high. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will drive performance and develop talent to ensure every customer leaves happy.

You’ll manage shifts, plan resources, and build strong relationships with other store departments to keep operations running smoothly and support store targets.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll bring a proactive approach to running a welcoming, vibrant Café. You'll lead your team to deliver outstanding service, keep stock availability high, and make sure every customer leaves happy.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Empower your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, listening to customer feedback to make sure our Café is always a warm, welcoming place to pop by.
• Lead and support your team: Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to succeed and grow.
• Drive performance and standards: Lead an encouraging, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
