Job description

We're recruiting an experienced Cafe Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently motivate our team to be the best they can possibly be for CH&CO on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Role Overview

As a Cafe Manager, you will have the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, helping us deliver truly incredible food experiences. Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday: Full-time (Days)
• Saturday and Sunday: Flexible

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Managing culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service
• Overseeing catering operations, including weekly business returns, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Supporting and training teams, leading from the front to enable excellence
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance

Ideal Candidate

• Previous management experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
• Strong financial acumen
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate
