Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a CAD Technician (HVAC) in Reading to produce drawings for acoustic housing, panels and louvres using AutoCAD. You will join a close-knit design team and may undertake UK and overseas site visits for variety.

The role offers a salary of £35,000-£45,000 plus Bonus, Health Cover and Company Benefits, with office-based hours Mon-Thu 9am-5:30pm and Friday 9am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CAD Technician with HVAC background.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for acoustics/noise control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings of acoustic housing, panels and louvres.
• Work in a design team of five using AutoCAD.
• Receive full training in noise cancellation products.
• Office-based role with Mon-Thu 9:00-17:30 and Fri 9:00-16:30

Are you a CAD Technician from a HVAC background looking to progress into management roles within two years, within a well-established business offering on the job, technical training within their niche industry?

In this role you will be working in a close-knit design team to produce drawings such as general arrangements, sectioning, or detailing for a range of bespoke noise control solutions using AutoCAD. There will be occasional site visits across the UK and overseas, meaning plenty of day-to-day variety.

Founded over 40 years ago, this building services design company specialise in noise control solutions across Europe, boasting steady growth over the years alongside a strong reputation in their niche and profitable industry.

This role would suit a CAD Technician from a HVAC background, looking to progress their career within an established business.

The Role:

• Producing drawings for acoustic housing, panels, and louvres
• Using AutoCAD, working in a close-knit design team of 5
• Full training given in noise cancellation products
• Office based, Monday to Thursday 9am - 5:30pm, finish at 4:30pm on Friday
