Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CAD Technician (Building Services / AutoCAD) in Reading. You will join a close-knit design team to produce drawings for acoustic housing, panels and louvres using AutoCAD, with full training provided in noise cancellation products and occasional UK/overseas site visits.

The role offers a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 plus Bonus, Health Cover, a company computer and other benefits. Monday to Thursday 9am-5:30pm, Friday 9am-4:30pm.

• Proven background in CAD design and drafting.

Are you a CAD Technician from a building services background looking to join a long-standing and reputable company at the forefront of their niche industry, offering fully funded external training courses and scope to progress into management within 2 years?

In this role you will be working in a close-knit design team to produce drawings such as general arrangements, sectioning, or detailing for a range of bespoke noise control solutions using AutoCAD. There will be occasional site visits across the UK and overseas, meaning plenty of day-to-day variety.

Founded over 40 years ago, this building services design company specialise in noise control solutions across Europe, boasting steady growth over the years alongside a strong reputation in their niche and profitable industry.

This role would suit somebody from a building services background with experience in AutoCAD looking to grow and improve their skill set within a close-knit company that will look after them.

• Producing drawings for acoustic housing, panels, and louvres

• Full training given in noise cancellation products
• Office based, Monday to Thursday 9am - 5:30pm, finish at 4:30pm on Friday
