Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CAD Draughtsperson (AutoCAD) in Ashford to work on 2D drawings, review materials, and support production. In-house training and clear progression to senior roles within 2 years are offered.

You will benefit from a salary of £32,000–£36,000 plus a company bonus up to £5,000, 33 days holiday, and early Friday finish, with the role based on site in Ashford.

Qualifications

CAD Draughtsperson (AutoCAD)

Are you a CAD Draughtsperson or similar with AutoCAD experience, looking to join a thriving company, where you will work on a variety of exciting projects for high profile clientele, with tailored in-house training and further progression to senior positions within 2 years?

Your role will involve the review of drawings to ensure they are correct for the Production team including the correct materials have been selected. You will assist the Production Team with any queries they may have, produce bills of materials and log all technical queries, as well contribute to research development and new designs using AutoCAD.

Established for over 40 years, this industry-leading and ambitious company is continuing to expand its product portfolio and customer base. Due to this ongoing growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with a CAD Technician, supporting the design, development and production of their innovative industrial door products.

This role would suit a CAD Draughtsperson, looking for excellent training opportunities and further progression opportunities to senior positions within 2 years.

The Role:

• Using AutoCAD to create 2D drawings and documents for approval
• Reviewing bespoke building material designs and technical drawings
• Contribute to research and development projects, including the creation of new designs

• Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Company bonus, up to £5000 annually
