£45,000 - £50,000 + Training + Bonus + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Bonus

Are you a Design Team Leader from a manufacturing or construction background, looking to join a rapidly growing business, where you will oversee a small team, helping to deliver large scale projects for a variety of high profile clients, offering further development to senior manager roles?

In this role, you will oversee a close-knit CAD team, managing workloads and coordinating bespoke fabrication projects from concept through to completion. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving technical drawings, maintaining the drawing register, contributing to R&D initiatives and developing new product designs, while also providing ongoing technical guidance and support to the wider team.

This opportunity would suit a Design Team Leader with strong AutoCAD experience who is looking to progress within a growing business that offers long‑term development into more senior leadership positions.

The Role

• Lead and support a small CAD team in the successful delivery of bespoke manufacturing projects
• Review, check and approve technical drawings and designs
• Contribute to research and development projects, including the creation of new designs
• Work closely with production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm and Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (39 hours per week)

The Person

• Experience in a Design Team Leader position or similar
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Background within a manufacturing or construction environment
