Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a CAD Technician with SolidWorks experience in Ashford. The role includes reviewing drawings for production, producing BOMs, and supporting the production team with technical queries.

You will join an ambitious company offering full industry training, a competitive salary (£30k–£35k), and a bonus scheme up to £5,000 annually. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00–17:00, Friday 8:00–16:00, with a Friday finish and progression opportunities.

Are you a CAD Technician or similar with a background using SolidWorks, looking to join a thriving company offering full industry training and the opportunity to boost your earnings through generous company bonuses?

Your role will involve review of drawings to ensure they are correct for the Production team including the correct materials have been selected. You will assist the Production Team with any queries they may have, produce bills of materials and log all technical queries.

Established for over 40 years, this industry-leading and ambitious company is continuing to expand its product portfolio and customer base. Due to this ongoing growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with a CAD Technician, supporting the design, development and production of their innovative industrial door products.

This role would suit a CAD Technician, looking to receive full industry training to upskill their career with a generous company bonus.

The Role

• Reviewing bespoke building material designs
• Offer technical and production support
• Being involved in new design ideas
• Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Company bonus, up to £5000 annually
