Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a Kent-based industrial manufacturer in recruiting a CAD Technician (SolidWorks) in Ashford. You will review drawings for the Production team, ensure correct materials are selected, and assist with queries while generating BOMs and logging technical questions.

The role offers full industry training, progression, 33 days holiday, and an early Friday finish, plus a company bonus up to £5,000 annually.

CAD Technician (SolidWorks)

£30,000 – £35,000 + Company Bonus (OTE £40k) + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Early Friday Finish

Are you a CAD Technician or similar with a background using SolidWorks, looking to join a thriving company offering full industry training and the opportunity to boost your earnings through generous company bonuses?

Your role will involve review of drawings to ensure they are correct for the Production team including the correct materials have been selected. You will assist the Production Team with any queries they may have, produce bills of materials and log all technical queries.

Established for over 40 years, this industry-leading and ambitious company is continuing to expand its product portfolio and customer base. Due to this ongoing growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with a CAD Technician, supporting the design, development and production of their innovative industrial door products.

This role would suit a CAD Technician, looking to receive full industry training to upskill your career with a generous company bonus.

The Role:

• Reviewing bespoke building material designs
• Offer technical and production support
• Being involved in new design ideas
• Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Company bonus, up to £5000 annually
