Qualifications

Are you a Cable Route Design Engineer, Route Development Engineer or Feasibility Engineer looking to take ownership of route development on major UK infrastructure projects, in a role that blends technical engineering with stakeholder engagement and project coordination?

On offer is a technically focused position where you will lead route development and feasibility work for infrastructure projects, with a flexible hybrid setup and nationwide travel for site visits and client meetings as required.

You will be joining a growing, modern infrastructure and digital insights business known for the quality of its data-led approach and the way it supports its people with hands‑on development and clear technical or leadership progression routes. As a result of continued growth and a stronger focus on design‑led delivery, they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will assess viable route corridors, review technical and environmental constraints, utilise mapping / GIS tools, coordinate site investigations and work closely with clients, landowners and local authorities to support projects from concept through to approval.

This role would suit a Cable Route Design Engineer with route feasibility experience in utilities / power infrastructure, looking for a long-term position with varied projects, autonomy and genuine development opportunities.
