Job summary
Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Cable Route Design Engineer – Remote, with regular UK-wide site travel, to own route development on major infrastructure projects. You will lead feasibility work, review constraints and engage with clients, landowners and authorities to move from concept to approval.

Qualifications
- Experience in route development / feasibility / infrastructure planning (utilities / power / major infrastructure).
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Lead route feasibility studies for transmission and distribution / infrastructure projects.
- Identify and evaluate route corridors using GIS / mapping tools, engineering assessments and site investigations.
- Engage with stakeholders (clients, landowners, local authorities and utility providers).
- Hybrid / remote with nationwide travel for site visits and client meetings.
