Job summary

Guidant Global is partnering with a leading defence engineering organisation in Bristol to recruit a C# Software Engineer on a 12-month contract. The role combines C# and C++ development to deliver high-performance simulation components within an agile team.

You will contribute to digital twins and synthetic environments, work across the full product lifecycle, and engage with project leads and stakeholders in a hybrid setup with three days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# development.
• Experience with C++.
• Ability to understand complex systems and work from high-level concepts through to detailed technical implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing simulation software using C# and C++.
• Developing system representations within synthetic and virtual environments.
• Supporting integration of simulation solutions with wider engineering systems.
• Working closely with architects and technical leads to translate high-level requirements into robust software solutions.
• Contributing to continuous integration, continuous delivery and configuration-controlled development environments.
• Supporting verification, validation and training capabilities through advanced simulation technologies.
• Collaborating within agile, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
