Job summary

Tatton Recruitment is seeking a C# / C++ Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in the UK, offering hybrid work between Stevenage or Bristol. The role focuses on developing simulation components for defence systems using C# and C++ within an agile team.

You'll collaborate with Project Leads and Simulation Architects to build end-to-end representations of weapon systems in a synthetic environment, employing protocols, integration simulations, and CI/CD practices across Windows and Linux

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#
• C++ experience would be great
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse
• Ability to move from high level system view to detailed designs

Responsibilities

• Design and develop simulation components in a synthetic environment using C#, C++, and integration simulations
• Collaborate with Project Leads and Simulation Architects on end-to-end weapon system representations
• Work in a heterogeneous agile team to develop simulations and system representations
• Follow CI/CD practices, configuration control, and test-driven development
