Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation is seeking 5x C# / C++ Software Engineers for an initial 12‑month contract. The role is a hybrid position with 3–4 days onsite in Stevenage or Bristol, on a 37-hour week, outside IR35 (umbrella).

The project develops weapon system simulations and synthetic environments using C# and C++, with CI/CD and automated testing as core practices. Flexible location based on preference, with long-term prospects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#
• C++ experience would be great
• Microsoft Visual Studio
• Eclipse
• Ability to work from high level/system view into technical detail
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Responsibilities

• Develop simulations and representations of weapon systems in a synthetic environment
• Design and develop simulation components with C#, C++ and integration simulations
• Work in a heterogeneous agile team to deliver end-to-end simulations
• Implement CI/CD practices, unit testing and test-driven development
