Job summary

Carbon60 is seeking a C# Software Engineer in Bristol for a 12-month contract. You will design, develop, and integrate high-performance simulation components within an agile team, using C# and C++ to create realistic digital representations and support verification and training activities.

The role offers hybrid working with 3 onsite days in Bristol and a focus on cutting-edge simulation technologies such as digital twins and emulators, in a mission-critical engineering setting.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# development.
• Experience with C++.
• Ability to understand complex systems from high-level concepts to detailed implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing simulation software using C# and C++.
• Developing system representations within synthetic and virtual environments.
• Supporting integration of simulation solutions with wider engineering systems.
• Translating high-level requirements into robust software solutions in collaboration with architects and leads.
• Contributing to CI, CD and configuration-controlled development environments.
• Supporting verification, validation and training capabilities through advanced simulation technologies.
• Collaborating within agile, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
