Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation is seeking 5x C# / C++ Software Engineer subcontractors for an initial 12-month contract.

The role is hybrid, with 3–4 days onsite at Stevenage or Bristol and some remote work. You will contribute to the development of simulation components and end-to-end representations of weapon systems using C# and C++, collaborating with project leads and simulation architects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# desktop development.
• C++ experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and unit testing is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation components in C#, C++ for weapon system representations.
• Collaborate with Project Leads and Simulation Architects to design end-to-end simulations.
• Integrate simulators with digital twins, emulators and verification activities.
