Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Scotland is seeking a Software Engineer to join an agile team of 7–10 engineers. You will architect, design, implement and test new software features that form the backbone of critical defence projects.

You will work with almost 100 engineers across programmes like Eurofighter Typhoon and Tempest, taking ownership of delivering high-quality software in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an agile team and lifecycle.
• Strong C++ programming skills, ideally in a highly regulated environment.
• Ability to collaborate and work with others.
• Git source control experience.
• Ability to develop software solutions from requirements.
• Ability to trace, diagnose and resolve software issues using a debugger.

Responsibilities
