Leonardo UK Ltd seeks a Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer to join multidisciplinary teams delivering advanced defence solutions. You will design and deliver high-integrity software for safety-critical systems, collaborating closely with experienced engineers and engaging with the full software lifecycle.

The role requires around 4 years in embedded software, C++ or Ada, and openness to lab-based hardware integration with a DevOps mindset.

Qualifications

• Around 4 years of embedded software engineering experience in aerospace, defence, or other mission- or safety-critical domains.
• Ability to develop robust, high-quality software (e.g., RTCA-DO178C) using object-oriented C++ or Ada.
• Work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and learn from senior engineers.
• Interest in automation across build, test, and deployment processes.
