Job summary

Leonardo UK in Edinburgh is seeking a Software Engineer to join an agile team of engineers responsible for the software backbone of national air defense capabilities. You will design, implement and test new product functionality, and take ownership for delivering it within a collaborative environment.

The role requires strong C++ skills, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site in Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an agile team and familiarity with the agile software development lifecycle.
• Strong C++ programming skills, ideally in a highly regulated environment.
• Ability to collaborate and work with others; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement and test new product functionality and contribute to planning the work.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan the work and take ownership for delivering it.
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle across the project.
