Job summary

We are recruiting a Mid-Level Software Developer to join our Technology team in a hybrid role based in Bolton. You’ll design, develop and maintain software solutions that are scalable and aligned to business needs, contributing across the full development lifecycle.

Bring commercial experience with C# and .NET 6+, Angular and cloud technologies. You’ll work in a collaborative Agile environment, delivering high-quality code and driving continuous improvement across our platforms.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing applications using C#.
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Front-End and Full Stack development experience with Angular.
• Understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
• Developing clean, efficient and reusable code aligned to engineering best practice.
• Reviewing technical specifications and solution designs before development begins.
• Working within a modern microservices architecture to deliver scalable services and applications.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers and fellow Developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identifying opportunities to improve existing applications, services and development processes.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Carrying out peer code reviews and providing constructive feedback to colleagues.
• Supporting troubleshooting, defect resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation where required.
