Job summary

IT Jobs Watch Ltd invites an experienced Senior C# .NET Developer to join a strategic technology transformation within a leading international banking environment in London. You will design, develop and enhance enterprise-grade applications across front-, middle- and back-office domains, collaborating with architects, analysts, data engineers and QA to deliver scalable, secure software.

Qualifications

• .NET Core / .NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core are essential.
• REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems experience.
• SQL Server expertise with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Entity Framework / ORM knowledge and OO design patterns.
• Experience with banking or financial services environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
• Develop scalable, secure RESTful APIs, services and distributed applications.
• Translate requirements with stakeholders and technical teams into robust solutions.
• Contribute to solution architecture, design decisions and code reviews.
• Develop automated unit, integration and regression tests.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices; monitor, log and troubleshoot in production.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases and cloud services.
• Ensure secure coding practices and satisfy engineering standards.
• Triage production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Assist with application modernisation and cloud adoption.
