Job summary

PX Group is recruiting an Instrument Technician to join the day team on a 12 month fixed term contract at the TeesREP power plant. The role focuses on repair, calibration and maintenance of Control & Instrumentation systems to ensure reliable plant operation.

You will calibrate equipment, perform predictive and preventive maintenance, and support safe operations with strong hands-on experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA platforms and associated test equipment.

Qualifications

• Repair and maintenance of all C&I assets.
• Experience with DCS, PLC and SCADA systems and calibration.
• Experience with Siemens, Schneider and ABB platforms.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation, calibrations, adjustments, troubleshooting and repairs on various types of power plant C&I Equipment and DCS, PLC control systems.
• Provide supervision of contractors at the site.
• Calibrate Controllers and test equipment used on site.
