Job summary
PX Group is recruiting a C&I Technician for our Teesside Wilton site. You will join a dedicated Engineering & Maintenance team tasked with safe, reliable operations and ongoing projects using HydroPRS technology to recycle plastics.
The role offers personalised on-the-job training, twice-yearly reviews, and clear progression while maintaining plant integrity and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship in Engineering or Control & Instrumentation or NVQ L3 in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working in a 24/7 industrial process with investigations, troubleshooting, planned repairs, predictive & preventive maintenance.
- Ability to maintain all site systems for rotating equipment, steam raising systems, conveyors, reactors, distillation, and plant logistics.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager with strategy, actions, reporting & compliance.
- Ensure E&M processes, systems and contracts identify and manage engineering risk.
- Perform programmed maintenance, defect rectification and troubleshooting on site instrumentation equipment.
- Produce risk assessments and method statements detailing the safest method to carry out work.
- Provide guidance during outages, incidents and investigations and support safety compliance.
- Support competency development and address technical requirements within the team.
