The Hive Centre, Brighton
The Hive, opened by Hill Park School in September 2023 at a newly refurbished site in Lynchets Close, Hollingdean, is for autistic students between Y7 and Y11 with high anxiety that prevents access to mainstream secondary schools. Many students have been home educated or tutored due to barriers in attending school. The Hive provides an age-appropriate curriculum and secondary qualifications, including GCSEs.
We are seeking a C Grade Teaching Assistant with experience supporting GCSE Maths. The role is for two days a week (13 hours).
Our school is warm, friendly, and welcoming, with a supportive staff team. We value patience, resilience, teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to support students individually and in small groups. The role may include supporting personal care, and full training will be provided. Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience are essential.
Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (including holiday entitlement)
